Animal Matters Veterinary Hospital Open During Covid-19 Lockdown

Veterinary hospitals and clinics have been cleared as essential services during lockdown. Animal Matters would like to reassure you that we will continue to provide your pets with the best medical service and treatment during these difficult times ahead. Our opening hours will remain the same.

Animal Matters recognise the importance of social distancing during these challenging times ahead in helping to contain Covid-19. As we collectively take the necessary precautions in helping to contain Covid-19 we understand the importance of this towards our Animal Matters Family of staff, clients and pets.

We encourage you to continue keeping your pets healthy and safe and if you need to visit the vet, we request that we all make effort to “flatten the curve”.

Please keep booking your appointments and try keeping as best you can to your time slot. Please call ahead if you are running late. Animal Matters would like to discourage walk-ins to minimize social contact.

When visiting Animal Matters, we ask that you disinfect your hands on arrival and departure with disinfectant that we will supply at the reception desk. Please follow the social distancing procedures that we are all learning to cope with as best you can.

To minimize any queues, we will only keep 1 person in the reception area, while others will be encouraged to keep safe distance using our outside bench or by waiting in your car. We request that not more that 1 person accompanies your sick pet into the consult room.

Our hospital, consulting room and reception area are disinfected thoroughly as per medical protocol. Our staff are taking extra precautions to keep credit card machines, phones and computers disinfected.

In these difficult times ahead, Animal Matters will be here for you and your pets. We will do all that is possible to insure your pet’s health and safety as well as that of your family.
